Martí Rum


Martí Plata, Martí Dorado, and Martí Estate Strength are made by legendary distiller of custom quality rums, Ingenio Las Cabras, Republica de Panama. The production process is overseen by Carlos Esquivel, who controls the most important production details of Martí rums including growing the distillery’s own cane, using yeast isolated from the skin of pineapples grown on the estate and aging the rum in select American oak barrels previously used to mature bourbon.

As relatively dry rums, Martí Plata, Martí Dorado, and Martí Estate Strength each serve as an excellent base for building classic rum cocktails. Martí rums contain less than 5 grams of total sugar per liter.


Tasting Notes
Nose: Marzipan giving way to pineapple and floral honeysuckle, coconut and tropical fruit.
Palate: Wonderful texture with vanilla bean, cane sugar and citrusy mango upfront. Hints of key lime pie with an earthy ripeness mid-palate and a bit of oak and campfire on the finish.
Total Sugar: Less than 5 grams per liter.

Tasting Notes
Nose: Apple cobbler with baking spice and brown sugar. Highlights of cashew and cherry. Savory thyme and cinnamon balanced by coconut.
Palate: Rich crème brûlée and molasses up front, dried apricot and pineapple, French vanilla bean reminiscent of toasted marshmallow, balanced by a hint of dry green olive mid-palate. Peppery winter spice, with a touch of mint on the finish.
Total Sugar: Less than 5 grams per liter.

Tasting Notes
Nose: Plum and peach and other stone fruit notes tempered by buttery spice. An earthy oakiness with vanilla and molasses.
Palate: Sweet maple up front with a rich and remarkable mouthfeel. Jam, dried fruit and coffee cake mid-palate followed by a finish replete with toasted hazelnuts, marzipan and black pepper.
Total Sugar: Less than 5 grams per liter.

2 oz Martí Auténtico Plata
¾ oz fresh lime juice
½ oz simple syrup
6-7 mint leaves
Muddle ingredients together in a Collins glass.
Add ice, top with soda water and garnish with mint sprigs.




2 oz Martí Auténtico Dorado
¾ oz fresh lime juice
¾ oz simple syrup
2 dashes Angostura bitters
6 mint leaves
Add all ingredients together. Shake and strain into a Coupe glass.
Top with Cloutier Champagne, and garnish with a mint leaf.
